Week Four
Monday - August 16, 1999
After weekend like that, I think I'm going to need
counselling! After spending precious minutes of my time watching Her drain the
Deadly Water Shield from the fish tank, I was nearly unable to refrain from
cutting Her down right then and there when She REFILLED the tank!!! Now my worst
suspicions are confirmed: the fish are in Their employ, and must be informing
Them about the whereabouts of the plug. I'll have to ask the people in the
drain.
I don't know why (probably a foolish attempt to confuse
me and trip me up), but my captors chose to rearrange the furniture. Their silly
plan to slow me down when fleeing from Them will not work, as I demonstrated
when They tried to catch me yesterday; He ran right into a chair, and I was free
to run upstairs and hide.
They attacked me with the buzzing flashy thing. They kept
placing me into weird positions, announcing "aww... how CUTE!" and then pointing
the buzzing flashy thing at me and setting it off... about 12 times too! He kept
saying He wanted to "finish off the roll..." I played along, then bit Her on the
toe for subjecting me to such nonsense.
The owners of that dog we sometimes go to visit (and
torment), were over yesterday as well. I just stayed upstairs and slept... all
the better to make last night a nightmare for my captors. Hehehe!

Friday - August 20, 1999
What a boring week! I was forced to amuse myself with Her
stuffed "Beanies"... Though Her reaction to my beautiful rearrangement of the
look of these stuffed things was less than favourable. Though He seemed more
concerned about my climbing the bookshelf and entertainment unit.
So the next day, I played in the garbage can in the
living room. Knocked it over and was not able to put it back, so I got in
trouble again. Sometimes you just can't win.
I miss my brothers and sisters; yesterday, I just felt
like sleeping under the chair, being by myself. Just kinda bummed out. Although,
when my captors returned they actually managed to cheer me up a bit...while
acting all suspicious and asking me what I had done.
I've overheard that They might be leaving me with His
parents -- which I think means visiting that dog again! How cruel can they be!
Although it may be better than going to see that mean cat, D.B. Cooper -- captor
of Her father. All that cat wants to do is slash my face off... Though I did
learn some great hissing techniques from her...
The plug has been behaving, so I left it alone (on
probation). The people in the drain have been boring me lately, so I left them
alone too. The fish, on the other hand, are as annoying as ever. I found the
sponge that She used for cleaning the fish tank. So I thought I'd take out some
frustration on it.... I think I did a great job of thoroughly destroying it...
But my undoing must have been the thousands of shards of pink sponge all over
the floor.... Must learn how to cover my tracks!! (Actually I just think the
fish told on me!)
